One word - AWESOME!!!

You have to know that some of the best gifts in the world are geek clothes.  Aside from the one t shirt featured here today, there are a wealth of nerd clothes available online. There are world of warcraft shirts, computer programming shirts, star wars clothes and more.

The time to begin your Christmas shopping is now, so all you geeks, get ta shoppin! You won’t be sorry and you can always through a couple of items in the shopping cart for yourself!

The only thing that I hate about this whole mess is that it hates on the scientific community.  Just because someone is into science, or UFO’s for that matter, does not make them an idiot. I wish the press would get back to talking about Kanye West’s glasses and off this crap.

Early Wednesday morning, hackers installed seven notes on the great dome’s temporary scaffolding, commenting on its close resemblance to a musical score. The notes were the first seven of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up.”

So, some of you know what a big Alice in Wonderland freak I am.  And some of you know that I’m an even bigger Johnny Depp freak.  So of course when I found out about the new Alice in Wonderland movie with Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, I just about wet my pants.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about Movie themed bedroom decor.  Sounds like a non sequiter?  It’s not. Every time I go in Wal Mart I see a damn bedspread with the stars of Twilight on it.   Though I am a huge Twilight (the books not the movie) fan, I think this decor is tacky and sucks.

I then started thinking about an Alice in Wonderland themed bedroom and tried to invision what one would look like.  Not one with (gag) cartoon alices on the drapes…but one that looks like it was inspired by the new Alice movie.

I decided to do a Squidoo lens about what I think it would look like.  It’s pretty cool…check it out if you like —-

Check out this amazing dry erase clock by the guys over at Il-Gu Cha .

It’s made for the office setting, where you can outline your day and actually watch the clock tick down towards that dreaded performance review or even toward happy hour.

Besides the cool functionality, it’s just a damn beautiful piece!

It’s also nice, in a zen sort of way, to think about time and energy disappearing and making way for a whole new day.

Or at least I think so.

So, I’ve taken quite a break from blogging here at today.com to focus on some other niche blogging projects and other things that have been important to me (getting married, purchasing a home, remodeling, moving and my son graduating from high school)…WHEW!~

Anyway, now I’m back!

Today I thought I would talk a little bit about geek clothing.  Oh how I love it! One of my very favorite t-shirts is one that I bought for my son.  It has all the planets on it and then a little speech bubble above Pluto that says, “weak”.

If you don’t get it, you probably shouldn’t be reading this blog.

I’ve recently had several friends who have decided to up and have babies.  This has brought me to many a baby shower over the summer and trying desperately to find cute, original gifts to bring.  Who wants another pink or blue blanket!?

Anyway, I’ve discovered the chicness of baby geek clothes.  All of my breeding friends love them and they have been a big hit at the baby showers.  Plus, it’s a lot more fun shopping for them than it is for a normal little onesie with a giraffe on it.
