Check out this amazing dry erase clock by the guys over at Il-Gu Cha .
It’s made for the office setting, where you can outline your day and actually watch the clock tick down towards that dreaded performance review or even toward happy hour.
Besides the cool functionality, it’s just a damn beautiful piece!
It’s also nice, in a zen sort of way, to think about time and energy disappearing and making way for a whole new day.
Or at least I think so.

Check out this awesome video camera spy necktie! It’s not too terribly stupid looking - looks like something you might buy at Mervyn’s or Belk.
The tie has a tiny pinhole camera in the pattern and can record video at a 352 x 288 resolution at 12 frames per second!
It comes with 2 GB of memory built in and even has a USB port right on the inside of the tie, so you can transfer video straight to your laptop.
(available at Brando)

….for boys who like to play with their joysticks for hours on end…
I like this. It screams nerd, but also cool nerd. Not only that, but “nerd cool enough to actually have a girlfriend.”
And…”nerd cool enough to actually have a girlfriend cool enough to like video games”.
Though, the ultimate geek girlfriend would be one who would play video games with you instead of just watching.
Just watching is kinda lame.

Here’s a great video from Martin Lihs that teases us about his Wii Graffitti program. It’s beautiful! I would totally do this…

Extreme!
I am a scrabble fanatic! I love it and have passed many a drunken night playing scrabble with friends.
One time I caught my punk rocker friend Brad cheating when I picked up a Dorito out of the bag on the table and bit down on the Z tile.
Either way, these guys look like they’re having wicked fun.
I’ve tried playing scrabble online, but it’s just not the same as playing it in real life. The aesthetics are off.
I got the nice spinning board version of scrabble last Christmas, but I am still hoping for the much coveted Onyx Edition with the silver and black tiles. It’s beautiful!
Do you guys play scrabble online? How do you put up with the cheating?

What a dream!
The general population cannot decide - too much Austen and not enough zombies, or too much zombies and not enough Austen?
The book was put out by Quirk publishing who has sworn to bring the classics to a new audience and make the most of public domain. Should be interesting to see what the next book out will be.
I think I would like to see a remake of Lord of the Flies. Maybe with actual flies. And Jeff Goldblum.
Anybody else have a suggestion?

I want one of these so badly that I can taste it.
I have wanted a laser keyboard since the first time I saw the movie Hackers way back in the day. I would put aside the money to buy one now, except that I only use my laptop. I don’t even have a desktop PC anymore.
However, while looking over the specs of this keyboard today, I realized that it has bluetooth capability. This means that, yes, I can hook it up to my beloved blackberry. Imagine whipping that thing out and projecting your keyboard to write a text message! Bad-ass!
You would have to carry it around in a purse though, if you wanted to use it with your cell phone. Time to buy that large black pleather bag I’ve had my eye on.
This has proved to be a very expensive post.

I am so super excited about the new Watchmen picture disk! I’m getting one of these for my son TODAY. He’s going to love it!
Watchmen was the first graphic novel I ever read and it was amazing. The counter guy at an indie coffee shop I used to visit let me borrow his hallowed copy several years ago and I have been hooked ever since. (side note: counter guy now has three amazing panels from Watchmen tattooed on his torso.)
This picture disk features My Chemical Romance’s version of ”Desolation Row” on the smiley face side and Tyler Bates’ ”Prison Fight” on the Rorschach city scene side.
I’m pumped! What did you guys think of the movie?

Here’s something to get excited about in the mornings! Shower Shock Caffeinated Soap. Found at ThinkGeek, this stuff gets you going early on.
For anyone who is wondering, it’s an all nautural soap and it’s scented with peppermint oil, so you’re not going to leave the house all awake and feeling girly. Since caffeine can be absorbed through the skin, and this stuff has about 200 mg of caffeine per shower, you can enjoy the caffeine high before you even make it to the kitchen to brew your coffee.
I am ordering this for my teenage son. He needs it. Desperately.
Besides, I’m tired of the smell of Axe.
Ugh.
