Chic Baby Geek

Published by thegreenninja under Geek Clothes Edit This

So, I’ve taken quite a break from blogging here at today.com to focus on some other niche blogging projects and other things that have been important to me (getting married, purchasing a home, remodeling, moving and my son graduating from high school)…WHEW!~

Anyway, now I’m back!

Today I thought I would talk a little bit about geek clothing.  Oh how I love it! One of my very favorite t-shirts is one that I bought for my son.  It has all the planets on it and then a little speech bubble above Pluto that says, “weak”.

If you don’t get it, you probably shouldn’t be reading this blog.

I’ve recently had several friends who have decided to up and have babies.  This has brought me to many a baby shower over the summer and trying desperately to find cute, original gifts to bring.  Who wants another pink or blue blanket!?

Anyway, I’ve discovered the chicness of baby geek clothes.  All of my breeding friends love them and they have been a big hit at the baby showers.  Plus, it’s a lot more fun shopping for them than it is for a normal little onesie with a giraffe on it.

Video Camera Necktie

Check out this awesome video camera spy necktie!  It’s not too terribly stupid looking - looks like something you might buy at Mervyn’s or Belk.

The tie has a tiny pinhole camera in the pattern and can record video at a 352 x 288 resolution at 12 frames per second!

It comes with 2 GB of memory built in and even has a USB port right on the inside of the tie, so you can transfer video straight to your laptop.

(available at Brando)

True Love Means Pressing Pause

Published by thegreenninja under Geek Clothes Edit This

Here’s a great t-shirt for all you gamers.  If it’s real love, you’ll press pause!

I’ve known guys who would not only NOT press pause, they wouldn’t even reply to you when you tried to talk to them.

I know, I know…never try to talk to a guy while he’s playing Halo.   I learned that lesson the hard way while I was young.  But, ladies, if you’re going to date a gamer, at least make sure it’s one who will press pause every now and then.

Especially if the house is on fire.  Or you’re going into labor.

OMG Pwnies

pwniesThink Geek just launched a ton of new stuff, including this awesome OMG Pwnies shirt. We got the new catalog in with all the stuff we ordered each other for Christmas this year and found out that they have even launched a line of Geek Baby Products!

They even have teeny tiny little star wars costumes for babies! How can you resist that?  And, of course, the classic “Come to the Dark Side, We Have Cookies” in new kids sizes.

Geektastic! I’m in heaven.

Geek Girl Update

Published by thegreenninja under Geek Clothes Edit This

Geek girl spent last weekend in New Orleans and the one before in Vicksburg at the casinos.  In the weeks in between, she has been slowing recovering from hangovers.  She’s been working her ass off and spending money almost as fast as she makes it.  She has found the reason for her existence at a website called Pin Up Girl Clothing.

The hotness of the clothes at this website amazes me.  I. WANT. IT. ALL.

The purses, the stripper shoes, the make-up (which they also sell) and the dresses.  Oh, the dresses.

This geek girl is in pin up heaven.
