I’m gearing up for Christmas right now and my geek son has gone from asking for chain mail to now wanting a punching bag. Me? I am still happy with my new laptop and blossoming freelance writing career .

did you know that matt makes chain mail? and armor? he has a full working smithy in the backyard. and while he prolly doesn’t have the time to make any for your son before christmas, i know he’d be willing to show him how to make it, and help set him up with basic supplies.
matt is getting his armor together to start fighting with our reinactment group. check out sca.org. we have a very active local group, and several events coming up in the near future very close by… let me know if you guys are interested!
